KARUIZAWA SAWAYA JAM

A professional jam maker will teach you how to make jam with recipes that can be made at home.

Using seasonal Japanese fresh fruits used in Sawaya's jams, families, friends, couples, and everyone from small children to adults and foreigners can enjoy making jams.

The jam you make will be labeled with your name and taken home.

Please enjoy it as a souvenir of your visit to Karuizawa.


・For preparation purposes, reservations must be made by noon the day before. Please apply with at least 2 people.

・Only one couple can experience one course (maximum of 6 people). Please make reservations as early as possible.



 Pick-up service is available at Karuizawa Station/Nakakaruizawa Station and accommodations in Karuizawa. Please consult us at the time of reservation.

 Pick-up service for more than 7 persons is not available. Please confirm with us if you are bringing children.

Reservations are accepted until the morning of the day before the desired date. Each course is limited to one pair, so please make reservations as early as possible.

We will prepare a label with your name on it.

 When you make a reservation, please let us know the names and notation (kanji, hiragana, katakana, alphabet, etc.) of all participants in the experience.

If any of the participants have food allergies, please let us know.

 We will accommodate allergies in the course with meals.

(It may be difficult to accommodate some allergies depending on the type and number of allergies. Please consult us in advance.)

Jam is made from fresh seasonal fruit. The type of jam to be made will vary depending on the season.

 Please note that the harvest and arrival times are subject to change due to weather conditions and other factors, so it is not possible to specify the fruits.
